Sometimes a shoulder mount is just too much.  Want to celebrate your son or daughter's first deer without breaking the bank?  Want to display a trophy from your bear hunt but don't have the wall space for a rug?  or maybe you're just looking for a display that's different from your other mounts.  Hunting is an expensive hobby and adding another $800-$1000 for a shoulder mount, rug or lifesize isn't feasible for most people.   However every animal harvested is a trophy in it's own right and most of us would like something to remind us of the joy and fulfillment that we experience in the outdoors.  European style mounts provide a cost effective solution.  At roughly 25% of the cost of a shoulder mount, skull mounts are much more realistic for the budget minded sportsman.  In addition skull mounts are more space efficient, don't typically require vaulted ceilings and have a unique look.  The addition of a custom wood panel adds to the visual appeal.

Don't be stuck with one size fits all display panels.  Most commercial panels are sized to fit the very largest examples of a species.  The wood work should accent the skull not overwhelm it.  All our panels & pedestals are custom sized to fit your trophy.  If we don't have a template to fit your skull, we'll make one from scratch.  Most displays are specifically designed so no modification to the skull is necessary.  Skull rests on a post set at a specific angle to firmly hold the head in place but be hidden from view and make the mount look as natural as possible.
